Shares responsibility of monitoring processes and product quality including first and last piece approval, inspecting incoming raw materials, PSI testing, final audits, weekly scale verification, and particulate monitoring. Granted the authority to accept or reject product on established criteria, and interrupt unsatisfactory processes. Promotes safe working environment and exhibits good environmental practices. Interacts with all departments to assure quality processes and products. Essential Functions % TIME Inspect and measure first and last pieces according to parts prints. Records results. Final audit work packets. 75% Functional release testing, particulate monitoring, receiving process. 10% Audit and file final audit folders 10% Training personnel on QA systems and policies and serve as a back up to other functions High School Diploma or GED required. Safe and quality oriented work ethic; efficient and willing to perform required work with good attendance and attitude. Willing to comply with proper use of PPE, report incidents, and participate in safety meetings and training required. Must work well in a team environment and possess an ability to adapt to change in the environment required. Follow 5S standards of daily operations and housekeeping practices required. Must demonstrate professional behavior, take direction from and respond positively to supervisors required. Strong organizational and communications skills, both written and verbal required. Knowledge and experience with blueprints and calipers preferred. Good analytical problem solving skills and ability to multitask preferred.
