James Dake is the education director at the Grass River Natural Area. He has taught environmental studies & science in the classroom, nature centers and museums. He is the author of Grass River's Field Guide to Northwest Michigan. He will speak on the variety of natural ecosystem services that a wetland provides including cleaner water, flood control, high biodiversity and cooler climate.
