Getting to Know Gouache II at Art & Connection

Join us at Art & Connection for a fun day of creativity and exploration and learn the art of Gouache - a water based paint known for its vibrant colors, opaque finish, and quick drying time. Pronounced "gwash," this art form is unique in that it adds depth and vibrancy to traditional watercolor. Instructor Christel Schwarz will teach you the differences and similarities between gouache, watercolor, and acrylic paint. Learn how to paint with gouache, and leave with a custom, framed piece of art that you can proudly display in your home.

Age 16+ Class participants should bring a simple, printed, high quality 5x7 reference photo (floral or landscape) for inspiration. Please note: This class is for first time students to Art & Connection only. In response to the many inquires we have received about how people are unable to register for a class because they fill so quickly, we have determined that we will offer one class a month for new individuals to come and participate in. No exceptions to this rule, please.
